Johannesstübli

Multiple awards with vegan-vegetarian focus

homepage

Step into the cozy parlor. Named after Johann Pfefferkorn, the grandfather of today’s host and the one who acquired Goldener Berg, the “Ahnenstüberl” surrounds guests with a warm atmosphere of comfort and security. Between wood-paneled walls, soft fabrics, and gentle lighting, the Stübli offers space for evenings that nourish on several levels.

Culinarily, the focus is on vegan-vegetarian cuisine. Upon request, selected meat and fish specialties complement the menu. In this way, we combine an appreciation for the good things in life with true enjoyment.

The Johannesstübli was once again awarded 3 toques by Gault&Millau in 2025 and 3 Falstaff forks in 2026.

A new menu is served each Wednesday.

talk.

In 2025, Gault&Millau once again awarded the Johannesstübli three toques. We received our first toque back in 1991. A la carte and Falstaff also reflect the quality of our cuisine — see for yourself:

International evenings • Austrian buffets • Open kitchen parties

Week after week, there's something new in the Goldener Berg.
