With 18,000 bottles from more than 1,800 wine varieties, our wine cellar is one of the largest in Austria.

Since its founding, our experienced sommeliers have hand-selected new wines year after year—wines from near and far: aged reds, elegant whites, characterful Burgundies, and carefully chosen classics.

Today, our cellar holds a thoughtfully curated collection that has grown over many years.

Taste the variety: For guests of our hotel or our restaurants, we also offer wine tastings on request.

The foundation stone for this special place was laid by Franz Pfefferkorn, long-time president and co-founder of Austria's first Sommelier Club. Hotel Goldener Berg is still a member of this club today — and sees wine as what it is in the best sense of the word: well-aged, rich in taste and a pleasure.
