Christmas and New Year’s Eve at the Goldener Berg

homepage

SILENT NIGHT. LONG NIGHT.

Two evenings bring the year to a close at the Goldener Berg.
On Christmas Eve, the house belongs to candlelight, music and family. On New Year’s Eve, we celebrate from midday until well past midnight, with live music on the sun terrace, a gala dinner and dancing into the new year. High up at 1,700 meters, in Oberlech, car-free in winter.

Christmas Eve

Christmas the way it should be.

Meadows and forests lie deep in snow. Children in thick hats and red noses, snowballs flying, bright laughter ringing across the plateau. Snow crunches underfoot, and the scent of vanilla crescents and hot chocolate hangs in the air.

On December 24, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., we welcome you into our festively decorated house and show you to your table. The sounds that belong to this celebration. Rituals that carry us. We serve our 7-course Christmas menu with accompanying wines.

New Year’s Eve

Full of joy. Full of groove.
Full of elegance.

We celebrate the turn of the year all day long, from the first glass of champagne in the winter sun to the last dance of the new year.

From 12:00 p.m. | Sun terrace
Live grooves from DJ MKS, singer Pete Simpson and Nelson Herrera on percussion and trombone. Soul, funk, disco and modern club sounds, with the Arlberg as a backdrop.
Prefer something more relaxed? The duo Glem Acoustic plays in the Alter Goldener Berg. Reservations recommended.

7:00 p.m. | Aperitif & gala dinner
The evening begins with an aperitif in the lounge, followed by a 5-course menu accompanied by music.

8:30 p.m. | Fire pit ceremony
Let go of the old year and entrust your wishes to the flames. A moment to pause on the panoramic terrace.

9:30 p.m. | Dancing & countdown
Dance your way toward the new year. At midnight, we raise a glass together on the terrace as the Pummerin bell tolls and the Blue Danube waltz begins.

12:30 a.m. | Midnight buffet
A late bite to refuel, then back to the dance floor.
