From the mountain station in Oberlech at 1,650 meters, the railway runs downhill to Lech. Just over a kilometer long — with a steady slope and long curves, you'll meander down the mountain on a sled. With increasing speed, the runners grab and fine snow blows into the face.

Once at the bottom, the Oberlechbahn will take you back up. If you still want to exercise, choose the winter hiking trail back to the mountain station.

Children and adults are at the start together. Some with a bit of caution, others with momentum. They wait downstairs until everyone has arrived — who likes sledding right away for the next round.

Opening times and rentals

In daylight and in the evening.

The toboggan run is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. It remains illuminated in the evenings.

The ascent with the Oberlechbahn cable car is included in the valid ski pass. You can buy pointed bobs at the valley station for a deposit fee.

Dinner in the Alter Goldener Berg

Time to stop off.

The path leads to → Alter Goldener Berg. Outside, the fire bowl crackles. The scent of campfire bread lingers in the air, a warm cup in your hands. You can sign up for this experience several times a week.

Those who stay may choose a fondue and find their place in the historic parlours of Alter Goldener Berg. Meat cooks right at the table in a rich broth or hot oil, while at other tables, fresh bread is dipped into cheese fondue.

And if you feel like something different, three different restaurants in the house are open to you every evening.
