In the Bregenzerwald, not far from the Arlberg, lies the Abenteuerpark Schröcken. Between the trees, one of Austria’s highest high ropes courses unfolds.
The platforms are set several meters above the ground. From there, ropes, beams and narrow elements lead from tree to tree. As you climb up, you pause for a moment before taking your first step onto the rope. Your gaze drops down, then returns forward.
The 16 stations are positioned at heights of six to eight meters and are completed under professional supervision. Some sections call for steady steps, others for a bit more balance. At times, the route leads across narrow tree trunks, then over rope ladders or footholds to the next platform. Below lies the forest floor, while above, the course moves from tree to tree.
