Ice skating & curling

‍Round by round over reflecting ice

homepage

In the early afternoon, the natural ice rink in Zürs comes alive. Skates draw fine lines into the smooth ice. From Sunday to Friday, the square is open between 03:00 p.m. and 08:00 p.m.

The ice rink is in the middle of town — runners rhythmically scrape across the track. Some do leisurely laps, others try quick turns or a little pirouette.

Curling

Stick by stick to stave.

Curling starts a few steps away. The opening times are the same as those of the ice rink. The heavy sticks glide across the track, rest just in front of the stave or slide a bit further.

People talk and laugh at the edge of the track. In your hands a cup of mulled wine. Steam rises into the cold air as the next stick glides across the ice. In addition to the game, conviviality in particular is an important factor here.

Back at the hotel

Round off the day comfortably while eating.

When the lights on the ice rink go out in the evening, it's time to head back to the Goldener Berg. The cable car takes you up to about 1,700 meters. When you enter, the scent from the kitchen is in the air.

After hours spent outside, there is a great desire for something warm. In the rooms, plates are carried, glasses are poured and the day is ended with pleasure.
