Experience summer at the Arlberg through water and rock

homepage

The journey through the gorges begins in the water. Wild streams cascade over rocks, carve deep channels into the stone, and gather in clear pools. In the region around the Arlberg, guided tours lead through this landscape of water, rock, and narrow gorges.

The Expedition

Carried by the current.

With helmet, harness and wetsuit, you make your way step by step through the stream bed. Some sections lead over smooth rock, others directly through the water. In places, guests rappel down waterfalls or slide over natural rock formations into the pools below. The water is clear and cold.

Those who prefer to experience the river from a boat head to the nearby Lechtal. There, rafting boats follow the course of the river — carried by the current and accompanied by the sound of rushing water. The boat lifts over the waves and settles again. The river sets the rhythm.

Back in Oberlech

The day comes to a close.

The warmth releases tension from arms and shoulders. The saunas offer soothing heat after the adventure in the cool water. It grows quieter, the body slowly comes to rest.

Afterwards, there is time for an evening in the house — before new paths begin again outside the next day.
