Winetasting is offered to guests staying at the Goldener Berg as well as to interested guests who have come up the mountain for a meal. We hold over 1250 different varieties of wine in our wine cellar, and a total of 18,000 bottles of exquisite wines:
Full-bodied reds, treated to plenty of sunshine and mellowed in oak barrels.
Light whites with fine fruit and juicy body. Late burgundies that impress with their spicy bouquet. Uncomplicated, fruity, full-bodied Chardonnays from all over the world and more besides. The repertoire of wine at the Goldener Berg deserves the distinction of “precious” in every respect.

The senior manager Franz Pfefferkorn himself was president of the first sommelier club in Austria and and thus created the foundation for one of the largest wine cellars in Austria.
